Garden writing is not only about good writing, good editing and good branding. It’s about understanding who your audience is, connecting with them, keeping their attention, and, ultimately, influencing them. The GardenPRO Conference offers seminars specifically tailored to help you capture and build your audience. From polishing your writing craft to protecting your intellectual property, our speakers will give you new tools to take your writing up to a new level or spark new creative ideas.

Garden designers often choose their profession to express their creativity, work in an outdoor environment, and to help people make their world a more beautiful place. But it’s also a business—one that requires marketing smarts to best sell your talents to prospective clients. Gain valuable insights on developing your credentials, visually marketing your work, adding needed skills to meet the demanding new requirements in today’s city codes and protect your intellectual property.

Landscape contractors not only need to install the garden designs—structures, hardscapes, natural stone, drainage, irrigation and water features—they also manage the crews that do the heavy lifting and planting. But they also need to market their business to both designers and the public, and work intensely with each individual client. That means leadership that gets the job done, through good communication, marketing skills and understanding and anticipating the trends in today’s rapidly changing landscape environment.

The GardenPRO Conference will be held on one day only, Friday, February 9th, 2018 in the Conference Center. The entrance to the Conference Center is across the street from the entrance to the Northwest Flower & Garden Show. Click here for directions to the Conference Center.
